I only spent 4 days here but they were amazing and so meaningful. Sammy is the kindest person I've met while backpacking. she is a life coach and so you can talk to her about anything and she understands and wants to help. she taught me so much about myself and vietnamese culture and history. her son and daughter are so cute and polite. I'm vegan and she made the best food and even made me a lunchbox for my bus ride to hoi an.

At Sammi's homestay we felt at home. She cooked delicious lunches and dinners and always listened to our requests. The house is in a beautiful location in the middle of a garden. Often there was not much to do and my friend and I went by scooter to some cafes in the city, all very nice and under Sammy's advice. The real work to do is to take care of the two children, mainly the young son. They are really lovely and since I like children I found this experience very nice as I also created a strong bond. One day Lavie and my friend baked a tart with blackberries that Lukas and I picked from the garden. I miss you Lukas..be good!!!

My wife & I stayed with the family for a few days. I truly enjoyed being part of the family while we stayed here. The hospitality is top notch. It was quite enjoyable interacting with the kids. This was an incredible experience, five plus five equals ten stars for Lucas.

Sammie the host has a wonderful and kind family. My husband and I stayed with them for 4 days. The tasks we were assigned were easy such as sweeping, mopping, washing dishes after eating and spending time with their youngest child, Lucas. Lucas is full of energy and he is such a sweet boy. Lunch and dinner were always so delicious. Sammie makes the best authentic Vietnamese food and fresh juices! During our free time we visited the world coffee museum and local coffee shops. The host family also took us to a cafe and gave us recommendations on what to do. Sammie will assist you with booking transportation if needed upon departure. Highly recommend staying with this lovely family and learn about the Vietnamese culture. Thank you Sammie, Mr. V, Lavie, and Lucas! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️

Me and my two best friends stayed with Sammi and her lovely family for 11 days. We loved it! Sammi makes excellent food and always taught us something new about Vietnamese culture. We stayed during Tet which was an amazing experience. The family is so friendly and welcoming, the kids are lovely and smart. Make sure you’re ready to play for hours with the youngest son Lucas!! Never ending energy… hahaha. Wish you guys the best and hope to see you soon!

This place is truly charming. The shared rooms are modern and in excellent condition, with very comfortable beds and top-notch services. I also loved the food; each dish was delicious and well-prepared. What really stands out is the warmth and hospitality; I felt very welcomed thanks to the dedication and kindness of Sam and Ester. You can see the love in every detail. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and appreciate them for creating such a wonderful space.

I spent a week at this beautiful family's house and I felt part of it from the beginning. Sharing the day to day with them was very enriching, I learned about coffee, gardens, local food, I practiced my English and I was very connected to the children (who by the way, are adorable). Sammy and Esther (the hosts) are incredible, sweet and attentive to all your needs. I am vegan, and Sammy made sure to prepare something vegan, delicious and nutritious every day 🌱💚 The room was shared but each bed had its own curtains and that made the space private and comfortable. The bathroom has hot water and the facilities of the place were always nice and clean. If you want to immerse yourself in the local culture, this is the place to be.
